Meritxell, known as Meri to clients and colleagues, qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1998 in Barcelona and has been practising in the UK since 2002. With over 20 years of experience in small animal practice, she holds a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) focused on Small Animal Medicine and a GP Certificate in Feline Practice.
Meri’s clinical expertise includes internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, emergency and critical care, and ultrasonography. She has also served as a Clinical Director and Assistant Clinical Director, enhancing both clinical standards and the client experience within her practice.
Passionate about supporting pet owners in managing chronic conditions, Meri brings a warm, empathetic approach to every patient she sees.
Originally from southern Spain, Meri enjoys travelling, salsa dancing, and spending time with her teenage children.
