Community | Ask The Vet how much is injections for a puppie of 8 weeks12.07.2006how much - natashahobbs Dear Natasha, In answering your query we thought you might like some further information about puppy vaccinations at Barton Lodge. The course costs £70.75p and consists of full veterinary health checks, free nurse appointments and 2 injections to provide a puppy with full protection against the major, fatal viral diseases of dogs. These injections confer protection against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza and Coronavirus. Our vaccine also now contains this extra protection against another type of enteritis caused by Coronavirus. All diseases can be fatal to puppies or older dogs. The course can commence as young as 6 weeks of age, with a second injection given at 10 weeks. An puppy vaccinated at 8 weeks would also be given a second vaccination at 10 weeks. For older puppies the second vaccine is given 2 weeks after the first injection. A single annual booster vaccination is also needed to maintain the protection against infection. If you have any further queries regarding puppy vaccination do not hesitate to enquire. - The Barton Lodge Veterinary Team Back |
