front leg
30.07.2009hi my dog has had xray they found a lump behind leg but cant tell by xray what it is i need a seconde apinion shes in a lot off pain and the tablets shes on are tramadol andrimadyl palatable.i have taken her off metacam as there was no inprovment.belle my dog is 12 years old thanks

Thank you for your enquiry regarding your dog Belle. It is impossible to say what the leg condition is from your description but a second opinion can be sought from any vets practice, not too far from where you live. If you came to Barton Lodge you would start by making an appointment for one of our vets to see Belle. It is very possible that repeat xrays and further tests would need to be scheduled before anyone could provide a diagnosis. If you wish to discuss this further then please contact Barton Lodge by telephone and mention that you are requesting a second opinion appointment. We would need you to provide us with as many details as you can of Belle's previous treatment. Before the appointment we would also require Belle's clinical records to be released to us from your own vet, this is the normal procedure between vets when providing a second opinion.
